Looking to update your email or phone number on BYDFi? For your account security, certain conditions must be met before you can make changes. This guide walks you through the step-by-step process to change your registered email address or phone number via the web platform.

⏳ Important Notice

For security purposes, withdrawals will be disabled for 24 hours after updating your contact information.

🔐 Requirements Before Updating Your Contact Information

Before proceeding, please ensure the following:

KYC Verification Is Completed

• Navigate to Account & Security > Overview > Identity Verification to complete KYC if you haven't done so.

Email and Phone Number Are Already Bound

• If your email or phone number hasn’t been added to your account yet, go to Security Center to bind them first.

⚠️ Note: You must complete both KYC and contact binding to proceed with changing your email or phone number.

🛠 How to Change Your Email or Phone Number

Once all prerequisites are completed, follow these steps to update your email or phone number on BYDFi:

1. Log in to your BYDFi account and tap More on the homepage.

2. Go to Security.

3. Under your current email or phone number, tap Manage.

4. Toggle off the verification switch next to your email or phone number.

5. On the verification screen, click Code is not available.

6. Select Email/Phone number is unavailable, apply for reset.

7. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete security verification.

8. Once verified, link your new email or phone number to your account.
