Adding Google Authenticator to your BYDFi account strengthens your security with two-factor authentication (2FA). Follow the step-by-step guide below to bind Google Authenticator on your PC.

1. Go to Account Settings
Log in to your BYDFi account and Navigate to “Account and Security”
In the Security Center, click the toggle next to Google Authenticator to start setup.
2. Download Google Authenticator
Download the Google Authenticator app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
Once installed, click “Next” to proceed.
3. Scan the QR Code or Enter the Key
Open the Google Authenticator app on your phone.
Scan the QR code shown on your BYDFi screen, or manually enter the secret key displayed below the QR code.
4. Save Your Backup Key
Write down the backup key and store it in a secure place.
⚠️ Important: If you lose access to your phone, this key is required to restore your Google Authenticator.
5. Enter the Verification Code
Check your Google Authenticator app for the 6-digit verification code.
Enter the code into the BYDFi setup page and click “Confirm” to complete the binding process.
By enabling Google Authenticator on your BYDFi account, you add an extra layer of protection for logins, withdrawals, and account changes.
