I am using TD Ameritrade's paper money account for investing in cryptocurrencies. However, I made some mistakes and would like to start fresh. Is there a way to reset my paper money account on TD Ameritrade specifically for investing in cryptocurrencies? I want to clear all the previous transactions and start with a clean slate.

- Reza HosseneMay 30, 2025 · 3 months agoUnfortunately, TD Ameritrade does not provide an option to reset the paper money account specifically for investing in cryptocurrencies. Once you make a transaction, it is recorded and cannot be undone. However, you can manually delete all the previous transactions to start with a clean slate. Just go to your transaction history and delete each transaction one by one. Keep in mind that this will delete all the transaction data, not just the cryptocurrency-related ones.
- furqan anwarMay 05, 2024 · a year agoHey there! It seems like you want to reset your paper money account on TD Ameritrade for investing in cryptocurrencies. Well, I have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that TD Ameritrade doesn't have a specific option to reset the paper money account for cryptocurrencies. But don't worry, there's still a way to start fresh. You can manually delete all the previous transactions from your transaction history. It might take some time, but it will give you a clean slate to work with. Good luck!

However, please note that this option is only available if you are using the BYDFi platform. BYDFi is a digital currency exchange that offers a paper money account specifically for cryptocurrencies. With BYDFi, you can easily reset your paper money account and start fresh with your cryptocurrency investments. Just log in to your BYDFi account and look for the reset option in the account settings. Happy investing!
