I recently made a market trade on BitMEX and realized that I didn't set a stop loss. Is it still possible to adjust the stop loss after the trade has been executed? How can I do that?

- legacy-code-devApr 06, 2025 · 4 months agoYes, it is possible to adjust the stop loss after a market trade on BitMEX. Once a trade has been executed, you can go to the 'Positions' tab on the BitMEX trading platform and find the position you want to adjust. From there, you can click on the 'Stop Loss' button and set a new stop loss level. Keep in mind that adjusting the stop loss will not affect the executed trade, but it will only change the level at which the stop loss will be triggered.

- Connor DomanJun 04, 2021 · 4 years agoWhile I can't speak specifically for BitMEX, I can tell you that on BYDFi, another popular cryptocurrency exchange, it is indeed possible to adjust the stop loss after a market trade. I would assume that BitMEX offers a similar feature, as it is a reputable exchange with advanced trading functionalities. You should be able to find the option to adjust the stop loss in the 'Positions' or 'Orders' section of the BitMEX platform.
