  A wrapped token is a type of cryptocurrency token that represents another cryptocurrency or asset. It is usually created on a different blockchain and is pegged to the value of the underlying asset. This allows users to trade and use the wrapped token on the blockchain it was created on, while still having exposure to the value of the underlying asset. In contrast, a regular cryptocurrency token is native to its own blockchain and does not represent any other asset.
