Has anyone experienced Bluetooth interference while using cryptocurrency hardware wallets on Lenovo Yoga?

Castillo FieldJan 31, 2024 · a year ago3 answers

I recently purchased a Lenovo Yoga laptop and I'm planning to use a cryptocurrency hardware wallet with it. However, I've heard some rumors about Bluetooth interference affecting the performance of hardware wallets. Has anyone experienced Bluetooth interference while using cryptocurrency hardware wallets on Lenovo Yoga? I want to make sure that my hardware wallet will work properly without any issues.

Yes, I have experienced Bluetooth interference while using a cryptocurrency hardware wallet on my Lenovo Yoga. Whenever I tried to connect my hardware wallet via Bluetooth, I noticed that the connection was unstable and often disconnected. This made it difficult for me to manage my cryptocurrency securely. To solve this issue, I switched to using a USB connection instead of Bluetooth, and I haven't experienced any interference since then.

I haven't personally experienced Bluetooth interference while using a cryptocurrency hardware wallet on my Lenovo Yoga. However, I have heard from other users that they have encountered this problem. It seems that the Bluetooth interference can be caused by various factors, such as nearby electronic devices or signal interference. If you're concerned about Bluetooth interference, I would recommend using a USB connection or considering a different laptop model that has better Bluetooth performance.

At BYDFi, we have received reports from some users about Bluetooth interference while using cryptocurrency hardware wallets on Lenovo Yoga. This issue seems to be more common with certain models of Lenovo Yoga laptops. We recommend using a USB connection instead of Bluetooth to avoid any potential interference. Additionally, keeping your laptop and hardware wallet away from other electronic devices may help minimize the chances of Bluetooth interference.
