Has anyone encountered the problem of Ledger Nano S not opening the Ethereum wallet and found a solution?

Marc-André ÉmondJan 18, 2024 · 2 years ago3 answers

I recently purchased a Ledger Nano S and tried to open the Ethereum wallet, but it doesn't seem to be working. Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so, did you find a solution?

Yes, I had the same issue with my Ledger Nano S not opening the Ethereum wallet. After some troubleshooting, I found that updating the firmware of the device resolved the problem. Make sure you have the latest firmware version installed by connecting your Ledger Nano S to the Ledger Live software and following the instructions for firmware update.

I faced a similar problem with my Ledger Nano S and the Ethereum wallet. I discovered that the issue was due to a compatibility problem with the USB cable I was using. Switching to a different USB cable solved the problem for me. So, if you're experiencing this issue, try using a different USB cable to connect your Ledger Nano S to your computer.

I had the same problem with my Ledger Nano S not opening the Ethereum wallet, and I couldn't find a solution for a while. However, I reached out to the support team at BYDFi, and they provided me with a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot the issue. It turned out that the problem was caused by a corrupted Ethereum app on the device. By uninstalling and reinstalling the Ethereum app using the Ledger Live software, I was able to resolve the problem. So, if you're still facing this issue, I recommend reaching out to the support team for assistance.
