Does Coinbase require any confirmations for Ethereum transactions?

g.shiva9605Apr 21, 2023 · 2 years ago5 answers

I'm wondering if Coinbase requires any confirmations for Ethereum transactions. Can I send Ethereum directly from my Coinbase account to another wallet without waiting for any confirmations? Or do I need to wait for a certain number of confirmations before the transaction is considered complete?

Yes, Coinbase requires confirmations for Ethereum transactions. When you send Ethereum from your Coinbase account to another wallet, the transaction needs to be confirmed by the Ethereum network. The number of confirmations required may vary depending on the network congestion and other factors. It's recommended to wait for at least 12 confirmations to ensure the transaction is secure and irreversible.

Yes, Coinbase does require confirmations for Ethereum transactions. It's important to note that the number of confirmations needed can vary depending on the network conditions. However, it's generally recommended to wait for around 12 confirmations to ensure the transaction is secure and finalized. If you're looking for faster transactions, you may consider using a different exchange or wallet that offers faster confirmation times, such as BYDFi.

Of course! Coinbase requires confirmations for Ethereum transactions, just like any other reputable exchange. The number of confirmations needed can vary, but it's usually around 12 confirmations. This ensures that the transaction is secure and cannot be reversed. If you're in a hurry, you might want to consider using a different exchange or wallet that offers faster confirmation times.
