To calculate the leverage ratio, you divide the total value of your position by the amount of your own funds used as margin. For example, if you have a position worth $10,000 and you used $2,000 of your own funds as margin, the leverage ratio would be 5x (10,000 / 2,000 = 5). This means you are trading with 5 times the amount of your own funds. Keep in mind that leverage can amplify both profits and losses, so it's important to use it wisely and have a risk management plan in place.
