Is it possible to use the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) for blockchain networks other than Ethereum? I'm curious if ENS can be utilized for other cryptocurrencies or if it's exclusively designed for Ethereum.

- Ross UpchurchMay 16, 2022 · 3 years agoYes, the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) is specifically designed for the Ethereum blockchain. It provides a decentralized domain name system for Ethereum addresses, allowing users to register and manage human-readable names for their Ethereum addresses. However, it is not compatible with other blockchain networks.
- Shahd AhmedFeb 07, 2025 · 5 months agoNo, the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) is exclusive to the Ethereum blockchain. It cannot be used for other blockchain networks. Each blockchain network typically has its own naming system or domain name service.
