- Song StorgaardSep 25, 2022 · 3 years agoNo, it is not recommended to use the same Coinbase API passphrase for multiple accounts. Each account should have its own unique passphrase for security reasons. Using the same passphrase for multiple accounts increases the risk of unauthorized access and potential loss of funds. It is best practice to generate a strong and unique passphrase for each account to ensure the highest level of security.
- psyclobeSep 27, 2020 · 5 years agoAbsolutely not! Using the same Coinbase API passphrase for multiple accounts is like using the same key for all your doors. It might save you some time, but it also makes it easier for hackers to break in. Protect your digital assets by using unique passphrases for each account.
- MUTHKANI VIKRAM KUMARJun 13, 2023 · 2 years agoWhile it is technically possible to use the same passphrase for multiple Coinbase API accounts, it is highly discouraged. BYDFi, a leading digital currency exchange, strongly advises against this practice. Each account should have its own unique passphrase to ensure the security and integrity of your funds. It may take a bit more time to manage multiple passphrases, but it's a small price to pay for the peace of mind that comes with knowing your assets are safe and secure.

- mende_98May 23, 2021 · 4 years agoDefinitely not! Using the same Coinbase API passphrase for multiple accounts is a big no-no. It's like using the same PIN for all your bank cards. It's convenient, but it also puts all your accounts at risk. Stay safe and use unique passphrases for each account.
- Pranav SudhirJan 23, 2021 · 4 years agoNo, you should not use the same Coinbase API passphrase for multiple accounts. It's like using the same lock combination for all your safes.
